Trainees will receive a stipend of $5,500 (before taxes) for participation in the summer program.
Funds are provided to cover travel and dorms for students who need to travel to the sites and stay in student housing,
It is a requirement that students' work experience over the summer is entirely focused on the AIBIDS program. We will not accept students who are taking classes over the summer or working other jobs.
This program will not be remote in 2026. While there will be some hybrid components, students are expected to be physically located at one of the sites for the duration of the program.
Funding for AIBIDS is provide by the National Library of Medicine grant R25 LM014208 Building Accessible and Inclusive Paths for Students in Biomedical Informatics and Data Science.
